Hi! I'm Clara, an alcoholic from the greater Seattle area who moved to San Francisco to go to school and pursue my English and writing career.

For me sobriety has not only saved my life but made it so much better. While it's not an easy and glorious jounrey all the time, I'm here to share it with you. I created Sober Broke Girls as an outlet. To combine my passions of writing, photography, connecting with other alcoholics (and addicts) and my gifted sobriety. With Sober Broke Girls I strive to create a bigger online community for people to better understand alcoholism and addictions, share my experience, strength and hope and meet new people!
